SUNDAY JULY 25th, 3-5pm: TDG's STUDENT SHOWCASE Join us at Dancing Gypsy as we end our summer session and present choreographies that we have been working on all year. Dina's and Sabrina's students will be presenting group and solo pieces for your viewing pleasure ~ friends, family, and public are welcome, and admission is free! (Donations to the snack table are greatly appreciated, either in the form of dollars or sweet treats :) Get to know the styles of bellydance that TDG is becoming famous for: dynamic Tribal, Fusion, Cabaret, and Gypsy-style creations that will make you smile and even say "wow"! We hope many can attend this summer send-off, as we will be closed for vacation for the month of August. Don't miss this last event of the season! COMING THIS FALL: Fall Classes Begin Tuesday Sept 14: Gypsy Fusion with Dina, American Cabaret with Sabrina, ITS Tribal Bellydance with Moirae. Ensemble Davuli Gig with OmBellyCo, Sept 24/25: OmBellyCo hosts ATS founder/guru Carolena Nericcio in Boston for a weekend of workshops and performances. We are honored to be able to play for this event! Bellydance Spectacular Sunday Oct 3rd: We resume our Bellydance Spectacular shows this fall on Sunday, October 3rd beginning at 4pm. As always, there is live Turkish, Armenian, and Arabic music by the legendary Ed Melikian Ensemble. The featured bellydancer this month is the lovely Zameena, with additional performances by Dina and Qalayla. Open dancing to the live music can be enjoyed in between shows. Admission is free; the bar and restaurant are open for meals, appetizers, and drinks. Table reservations are recommended at least one week in advance; call the Sahara at (508) 798-2181. Drum-and-Dance Workshop with Dina and Brian, Date TBA Stage Makeup Workshop with Moirae, Date TBA Sword Workshop with Dina, Date TBA Psychic Parlour, Sunday October 24: Our second annual Parlour features Psychic Readings (of course), and also some exquisitely dark and mysterious dance performances by Sabrina, Tempest, Almasa, Neylan, Illianna, and many more enchanting dancers! Madame LeDuke herself will be reading the cards as well as tripping the light fantastic with her harem-scarem sword dance. Witchy wonders abound as the sun goes down on the Sunday before Halloween. Don't miss this spooky sensation...! Admission is, as usual, either a delightful donation to the snack table or tipping a few dollars into the jar. Readings are $1 a minute. Ensemble Davuli CD Release Party, Sunday November 21: Come celebrate with us as we dance to the music of Ensemble Davuli's debut release "The Wandering Drum"!
